Personal Finance Management After BankruptcySM Webinar

A webinar is a seminar available through a website.  The Personal Finance Management After BankruptcySM Webinar is a preferred option for many people because this program is offered at least once a week and you may participate from the comfort of your own home or office.

High-speed Internet access and email are required to take our webinar.

After registering for participation in a specific webinar, each of which is limited to 15 people, you will be assigned a time to logon through the Internet, as well as to call in via telephone, and you will be given access to the webinar.  At the designated start time, you will view a presentation on your computer as well as converse over the phone with an NFCC-certified counselor who will lead all participants through the course.  The webinar typically lasts two hours, including time for questions and answers.

ByDesign recommends using Internet Explorer 6.0 as your browser when logging onto the webinar.

By participating in our webinar, you will earn a certificate that meets the requirements of the new bankruptcy reform legislation, BAPCPA, for "pre-discharge debtor education."*  Confidential information shared with ByDesign staff will remain strictly confidential, as explained in our privacy policy.

How The Webinar Process Works:

  • Once you have found a date and time convenient for you, click on the Workshop Number for the webinar that you would like to attend.  A Reservation Request email will be generated. 
  • Enter your name, full address, telephone number, bankruptcy case number, and the judicial district in which you filed for bankruptcy OR the county in which you reside.
  • Click send to submit your information and request your reservation.
  • Once your request has been received, you will receive an e-mail with detailed instructions on how to access the webinar.
  • Attend the webinar.  ByDesign will email your certificate to you.

The cost of the webinar is $40.  In those cases where it is established that clients are unable to afford the costs for bankruptcy counseling or bankruptcy-related financial education, the agency will, on a case-by-case basis, provide the services at a reduced price or, in extreme circumstances, for free.  Pre-registration for the webinar is required.  Please call us at (800) 750-2227 for further information.
