Clients may earn their certificates by taking our Pre-Bankruptcy Counseling via a Webinar, workshop (in select California offices) or a one-on-one session.

  1. Pre-Bankruptcy Online Self-Study –$30 for an individual
  2. Pre-Bankruptcy Counseling Webinar –$40 for an individual, $50 for a couple
  3. Pre-Bankruptcy Counseling Workshop — $50 for an individual, $60 for a couple (except Florida and Oregon)
  4. Pre-Bankruptcy One-on-One Counseling for Individual — $90 (except Florida, Oregon and New Jersey)
  5. Pre-Bankruptcy One-on-One Counseling for Couple — $120 (except Florida)

Any of these delivery options will enable you to earn a certificate that meets the requirements of the bankruptcy reform legislation, BAPCPA for pre-filing credit counseling.

In each of the pre-bankruptcy counseling services, a wide variety of topics will be covered, including:

In those cases where it is established that clients are unable to afford the costs for bankruptcy counseling or bankruptcy-related financial education, the agency will, on a case-by-case basis, provide the services at a reduced price or, in extreme circumstances, for free.
